EU One-Year Fertilizer Tariff Suspension Enters into Force

A one-year tariff exemption policy has officially entered into force. From May 30, the European Union has suspended the collection of regular import duties (MFN tariffs) on urea and other specified fertilizer products. The measure is valid until May 31, 2027. The duty suspension applies to imports of urea, liquid (anhydrous) ammonia, ammonium sulphate, NP/NPK compound fertilizers, and mono‑/diammonium phosphate (MAP/DAP).
